Dersin Amacı

The physical properties of amorphous and crystalline polymeric materials, glass transition, rubber elasticity, the properties of mixtures of polymers, composites, and their interface will be teached in addition to current discussion on molecular weight, viscosity determination methods an other characterization methods. Moreover, molecular structure, morphology and thermal/mechanical behavior of polymers will be discussed bilaterally.

Structural and dynamic properties of polymeric solids, melts and solutions and their theoretical models will be examined with surface and interfacial properties. The structure-function relationships as the mechanical, dynamic and structural characteristics of the mutual relations will be taught in multi-component polymeric systems, hydrogels, nanocomposites, molecular biosensors and some nanotechnological applications.
