Objectives of the Course
In this course, students will be introduced to general principles of usage of drugs. The students will learn general knowledge how to use drugs in treatments, domain of usege of drugs and types of treatments.

  1. Gains knowledge about definitions and concepts of pharmacology.
  2. Defines pharmacokinetic and pharmaco-dynamic explanations.
  3. Learn about the undesirable toxic effects that can be seen in the organism after administration of the drugs.
  4. Respiratory System, Digestive System, Kidney System, Cardiovascular System defines which organs and systems medicines affect.
  5. Describe the areas of use of the chemotherapeutics, the types of drugs used, the treatment of the mechanism of action and significant side effects.
  6. Reproductive System Hormones, Birth Control Drugs, Learn about drugs affecting the Uterus Movements.

Introduction of general pharmacology, Use of drug ways, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, factors that affect drug’s effects, pharmacokinetics and drug interactions via pharmacokinetics, reverse drug effects, toxic effects of drugs, drug addiction and abuse, prescription and appropriate drug treatment.
