Objectives of the Course
Prospective teachers will be able: 1. Differentiate and give examples of adequate and inadequate explanation of behaviors.2. Describe characteristics of applied behavioral analysis. 3. Differentiate experimental behavior analysis from applied behavior analysis 4. Give examples behavioral principles.5. Describe and give examples for stimulus control.6. Develop interview form and identify the target behavior and causes of behavior from ABC.

This course focuses on understanding and explaining of behaviors, adequate and inadequate explanation of behaviors, applied behavioral analysis and the philosophy of behaviorism, as well as experimental and applied behavior analysis, behavioral principles and their applications, behavioral assessment, identifying and measuring target behavior and single subject design.
