Objectives of the Course
Introducing the primary language instruction methods and approaches developed since the beginnings of the 20th century and studying them in their appearance timeline and their theoretical and practical aspects; introduction to basic terminology of the field; studying the developments in the disciplines such as linguistics, psycholinguistics and educational science on which the language instruction methods are based and comprehending the interdisciplinary relationships; Identifying the special features of the various methods, principles of efficiently use of them, their strengths and weaknesses and transferring the theoretical knowledge to evaluate the course books.
