Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to recognize eye diseases, to make differential diagnosis and to gain the ability to approach emergency eye diseases

Learning Outcomes
  1. Be able to describe eye anatomy
  2. When they meet with the patient for the first time, they should be able to make accurate diagnosis, perform the emergency treatment and direct the patient to the specialist.
  3. Be aware of the burn effects of acid or alkaline agents, know the differential diagnosis and the complications that may arise when there is no appropriate treatment, and be able to apply the emergency treatment.
  4. Must be able to distinguish trichiasis and distichiasis
  5. Should be able to explain the vasculature of the optic nerve and its role in ischemic diseases.

Eye anatomy, visual acuity assessment, approach to trauma, cataract, orbital diseases, glaucoma, strabismus, retina diseases and uveitis, pathophysiology and treatment.
