Objectives of the Course
This course has an objective as follows: Philosophy and Sociology of law aims at helping students to learn questioning so as to develop their thoughts on ethics, social thought, values of law and cultural richness of the idea of law. This is executed at both theoretical level of learning and discussing philosophy of law and practical level of imagining and constructing new ideas on sociology of law.

Learning Outcomes
  1. Dersi başarıyla tamamlamış olan öğrenci, genel olarak Hukuk Felsefesi ve sosyolojisi hakkında bilgilenmiş olur. Hukuku felsefi bir olgu olarak düşünmeyi ve genel felsefe sorunsallarıyla ilişkisini öğrenir. Benzer şekilde hukukun toplumsal yapı içindeki yerini ve önemini toplumsal hayatın dinamiği içinde değerlendirebilmeyi öğrenir
  2. Hukuk tarihi, felsefesi ve sosyolojisi ile ilgili temel bilgileri almalarının ve bu bilgilerle günümüzü değerlendirmelerinin sağlanarak, geniş bir bakış açısına sahip olmalarının temin edilmesi,
  3. Hukukun bir toplum için taşıdığı önemin bilincinde olmalarını sağlayarak, özellikle, toplumsal sorumluluk anlayışlarının gelişmesinin sağlanması,
  4. Teorik olarak öğrendiklerinin uygulamaya aktarılabilmesi için mevzuat metinlerini, yargı kararlarını ve bilimsel kaynakları yorumlama, değerlendirme ile hukuki sorunları çözme yeteneğini kazanmalarının temin edilmesi
