Objectives of the Course
The conceptual framework of this course is formed by the main feminist currents and texts and using “gender” as a category of analysis is considered as important. When the establishment of women’s movement, its progress in Turkey and the studies are examined, the famous people in this field and their work are also dealt. The aim of this course is to have comprehensive knowledge of the main theories, approaches and discussions of the field, to learn the history and different approaches of feminism and to take advantage from these approaches in subsequent studies.

  2. Feminizm kavramı etrafında dönen tartışmaları bilir, farklı feminist yaklaşımları öğrenir.
  3. Dünya ve Türkiye'deki kadın hareketlerinin tarihini bilir.
  4. Kadın Sorunu konusundaki temel alanlara ilişkin bilgi sahibi olur.
  5. Kadın-Erkek eşitliği konusundaki son tartışmaları takip edebilir.
