Objectives of the Course
Two-dimensional work of art printing technology to replicate the engraving, free and produce contemporary works, art and consciousness method, the power of imagination, invention, and gain the ability to composition.

  1. Making the Definition of The Printmaking of the Picture
  2. Application of the Printmaking Techniques.
  3. The result of the technical applications gains confidence by using different tools and equipment.
  4. Be able to explain the daily history from the beginning of the engraving art.
  5. To learn how to use tools and equipment of dry scrating, acid carving and aquatint techniques.

Course Contents
Engraving prints studies, zinc and other flat plates (copper, aluminum) through the work of the form (relationship between content and style), black - white and color, making sure the balance of contemporary original works exhibited are produced and reproduced.

1.What is the engraving picture? Brief history of the engraving.
2.Dark-light balance and composition.
3.Review of the reproduction. Works review.
4.Through project activities according to pattern making sketches.
5.Preparation of zinc sheets, bitumen processing, shields
6.Write projects patterns, scrape and acid acceptor.
7.Akuatinta (tone engraving), resinning.
8.How to prepare acid, 1/8, 1/10
9.Zinc is on the corrections. Finishing.
10.Midterm Exam - original print editions of the proof of the studies to be passed.
11.Testing and quality color printing paper.
12.Original prints and numbering.
13.Paspartu exercises.
14.Final Exam - Works framing and display.
