1.History of biogas technology, advantage and disadvantage of biogas production, prevention of environmental pollution and biogas production.
2.Status of biogas production technology in Turkey and in the World, conversion of biogas to energy, biogas usage.
3.Anaerobic digestion stages, hydrolysis, acid formation, methane formation
4.Basic factors effecting biogas production, temperature, pH, mixing, hydraulic retention time, organic loading rate, waste type, C/V ratio, toxicity
5.Biogas reactors, type and structure.
6.Start up and operation of anaerobic reactors and process control
7.Monitoring of biogas production performance, monitoring of methane content, analysis of COD, BOD, pH, alkalinity, AKM, UKM, TKN, PO4-P for waste characterization and process control
8.The mechanism and kinetics of biogas production.
9.Evaluation of waste sludge occurring from biogas production.
