Course Contents
The measurment and mapping services and their functions in the planning process. Housing systems. City and urbanization concepts. The concepts of country, region and city planning. The evolution of settlements and planning. The urban land use and planning principles. City and regional plan samples, expression techniques, symbols. The legal and the socio-economic measures (factors, norms and standarts) of dividing into plots and the project standards.

3.Approaches to planning and development; traditional planning approach, comprehensive planning approach.
