Objectives of the Course
Stratification, its measuremnt and chaging character in history is very important subject in sociology. Clasical thinkers and their conceptualization of stratification and the relevance of their approach for the current society are the main subject of this course. Stratification, status and rank in Turkey and their measurement ways are the other important aim of this course. At the end of the course, students should know the subject of stratification.

  1. Tabakalaşma ile ilgili başlıca teorik yaklaşımlar sosyolojik olarak kavranmış olacaktır
  2. Tarihsel süreç içinde değişen tabakalaşma biçimleri bilinerek toplumsal yapıya bakılabilecektir
  3. Günümüz dünyasında toplumsal tabakalaşmayı etkileyen ve belirleyen hususlara sosyolojik açıklama getirilebilecektir
  4. Toplumsal tabakalaşmanın yol açtığı toplumsal problemler irdelenebilecektir
