Objectives of the Course
In contemporary society, formation and contruction processes of culture and identiy will be discussed, and the conceptualization of these concepts in social science will be clarified. Identity-based movements, from feminism to youth liberation have emphasized the importance of group differences in shaping social norms and institutions.

  1. Toplumsal hareketlerin oluşumu, dinamiği, gelişim süreçleri tanımlar.
  2. Toplumsal hareketlerin toplumsal değişim içindeki rollerini tespit eder.
  3. Modern toplum içindeki kimlik kavramını tanımlar ve sistem kurucu, sistem değiştirici boyutlarını analiz eder.
  4. Kimlik siyasetleri ve çatışmalarının boyutlarını kategorize eder.
