Objectives of the Course
This lecture is to explain of wildlife in Turkey; parasites of wild and zoo animals, role of wild and zoo animals’ dissemination of parasitic diseases to domestic animals and man, pathogenesis, diagnosis and control parasites in zoo and wild animals.

Learning Outcomes
  1. By the end of the lectures and practicals students should be able to describe parasitic diseases in wild animals.
  2. Should be able to explain life cycles of wild animal parasites.
  3. Should be able to diagnose parasitic diseases in wild animals.
  4. Should be able to cure parasitic diseases in wild animals.
  5. They know the parasites and protection measures that can be transmitted to humans from wild animals
