Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach protozoan, helminth and arthropoda parasites of especially domesticated poultries and other domestic and some wild birds and its morphology, biology, diseases, diagnosis, treatment, control and prevention methods.

Learning Outcomes
  1. Bu dersin sonunda öğrenci, kanatlılarda patojen olan parazitler ve özellikleri hakkında bilgi edinir.
  2. Kanatlı hayvanlarda parazitolojik muayeneleri yapabilir.
  3. Kanatlı hayvanlara parazitolojik nekropsi yapabilir ve örnek alabilir.
  4. Kanatlı hayvan parazitlerini cins bazında tanımlayabilir, teşhis ve tedavi edebilir.
  5. Kanatlı hayvanları parazitlerden korumak için gerekli önlemleri alabilir.
  6. Students should be learn important parasitic diseases in birds.
  7. Can make parasitological examinations in poultry
  8. Students can make necropsy for parasitological purposes to poultry.
  9. Can identify, diagnose and treat poultry parasites according to their genus level.
  10. Can take the necessary prophylactic methods the poultry from parasites.
