Objectives of the Course
To provide basic information about several typing methods which are used to identify and classify bacteria, to determine the source of outbreak, to determine the relatedness between bacterial strains and to determine the vaccine strains which could be used in vaccine develepment studies

Learning Outcomes
  1. Have the knowledge to distinguish the bacteria with various similar characteristics
  2. Have knowledge about the methods of the similarities between the strains
  3. Have knowledge about the methods used to demonstrate the phenotypic and geneotypic properties that can distinguish the pathogens that cause diseases.
  4. Comprehend the importance of such methods in determining the strain and / or the source of the secretion
  5. Will be able to interpret the correct interpretation of typing methods will learn what are the criteria
