This course aims to develop and sustain the continence, evaluate patients with incontinence and their families, and acquire knowledge and skills regarding treatment methods and the nursing approach

  1. Knowing the importance of women’s health, define and know the basic concepts relating to women and reproductive health
  2. Knowing the meaning and importance of women’s sexual health/reproductive health, sexual system/reproductive system problems, factors that affect sexual/reproductive health, and health rights relating to sexual/reproductive health.
  3. Knowing the risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis tests, treatment choices, and nursing responsibilities regarding obstetrics and gynecology.
  4. Theoretically knowing and understanding application methods relating to maternal and infant care during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods at expert level.
  5. Utilizing nursing-related improvements by using scientific methods.

This course involves information and practices regarding the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and psychosocial care needs of women with the symptom of lower urinary tract and their families with a holistic approach.
