History

1- Rector of the university dated 24.02.1988 and numbered SR.076.10819 proposal and the decision of the Executive Committee meeting held on 23.08.1988 has been established.

Specific Admission Requirements

Therapeutic Radiology and Lab-Radiology-Radiology Technician-sections are to pass without examination, and examination of students.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

Transition from Other Higher Education Institutions to the University, Regulation on the Principles of Transition between the Programs of the Associate Degree and Undergraduate Level in the Higher Education Institutions Published in the Official Gazette dated 24/4/2010 and numbered 27561, Double Major, Minor and Minor Institution Credit Transfer, Decisions of the Higher Education Council and the Senate . The adaptation of these students to the training programs is carried out by the relevant unit management boards

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Students who have completed their education programs are given associate degree and bachelor's degree diploma by explaining unit and department name. Graduation date is the end date of the exam period determined in the academic calendar. Diplomas are signed by the dean / director of the Rector.

The Project of Developing Human Resources through Professional Education aims at developing employment oriented-education programs based on the fifth level profession standarts among labour force market, vocational schools of higher education, vocational secondary school institutions

Graduation Requirements

Medical Imaging Techniques Program is awarded to students who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum and have obtained a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale / 60 on a 100 scale.

Facilities

Branch courses are supported by faculty members of the Department of Radiology of the Faculty of Medicine of our University.
  Infrastructure facilities of Radiology Department of Faculty of Medicine are utilized for the applications of the courses.
  It also allows students to participate in university social activities because the school is on campus.

Programme Outcomes

  1. Have a general knowledge of basic science and profession knows the place of use.
  2. Radiotherapy and nuclear medicine will have the basic knowledge required in the field.
  3. Individual and public health, occupational safety and environmental protection will have sufficient consciousness.
  4. Information and communication skills who can use techniques that can be applied in the field of emerging technologies in hardware, have the ability to synthesize information.
  5. In an emergency first aid for injuries and other implements.
  6. The acquired basic knowledge and skills are developed at a critical level.
  7. Colleagues, patients, relatives, physicians and other healthcare professionals with an effective communication.
  8. Gain awareness of professional ethics and profession-related data collection stage play by the rules of scientific and moral.
  9. Follow the information in his / her field and communicate with his / her colleagues by using a foreign language at least at the level of European Language Portfolio A2 General Level.
  10. Updated information evaluates and implements professional.
