General Description

History

In the period of 1992-1993, our department started teaching and teaching activities as second education. It continues to serve with its academic and administrative staff.

Qualification Awarded

Students who have successfully completed the program are entitled to receive the Associate Degree in Accounting and Taxation Program.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

The recognition of the previous formal (formal) student in the Turkish higher education institutions is carried out within the scope of the Regulation that the transitions within the university and within the university have been determined by the Higher Education Council. At the beginning of each academic term, students are entitled to take the English Exemption Examination.

Access to Further Studies

Students successfully completing Associate Degree can successfully continue their undergraduate studies from the Vertical Transfer exam. In addition, the third cycle of the Undergraduate Departments of the Open Education Faculty without exam can continue.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

(1) The evaluation of the course can be done by using one or more of the methods such as application, laboratory, project, homework, field work, student product file (portfolio) The examinations are completed within the first and last three weeks of the semester.
(2) The date and place of the examinations shall be submitted within thirty days at the latest from the beginning of the semester or at least one week prior to the exam period determined in the academic calendar, upon the recommendation of the course instructor; is determined and announced by the related department / unit.
(3) The proposals of the instructor / staff and the academic board of the department about the effects of the methods such as exam, homework, application, laboratory, project, field work, student product file (portfolio) and the students will be announced one week before the start of the semester. According to the characteristic of the course, it can be decided not to make an examination with the approval of the departments of the department and the relevant unit boards in the departments where the departmental academic system, class transfer system is applied and units graduated at the level of department.
(4) In the units where the course passing system in the university is applied, 40% of the grade point of the course and 60% of the score obtained from the semester or integration examination are taken at the end of the year or 50% of the grade point within the Faculty of Dentistry. is the sum of 50% of the makeup exam score. The resultant half-figure is raised to the whole number. To be considered a successful dersten; it is mandatory to have at least 50 points for the semester / year final or make-up exam, and at least 60 points for the achievement score. The achievement score of distance education students is the sum of 20% of the midterm exam and 80% of the final exam score or the makeup exam.

Graduation Requirements

Students who have successfully completed all of the 120 ECTS courses are entitled to graduation. Those who have completed their education in the curriculum are given an associate degree diploma by explaining the name of the unit and department. Graduation date is the end date of the exam period determined in the academic calendar. The diplomas are signed by the director of the university.

We have computer labs with a capacity of forty students with fully equipped internet connection. It is also available in our classrooms.

  1. Having basic theoretical knowledge and skills in the field of accounting and tax
  2. To be qualified accounting staff who have the ability of analytical thinking and problem solving to meet the needs of the accounting and finance departments of the public or private sector organizations in accounting or consultancy branches serving accounting
