General Description

History



Marketing and Advertising Public Relations and Advertising program that Programme, was opened in the academic year 2011-2012. Program in educational activities 2014-2015 academic year has started in the fall semester. Teaching period is 2 years for this program. The language of instruction is Turkish.








Qualification Awarded

Available in the program (120 ECTS) to students who have successfully completed all the courses have a minimum 2.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale PR and Advertising undergraduate diploma.

Specific Admission Requirements

Students who wish to enroll in Part, complete the process within the framework set by the OSYM academic and legal regulations of the university and must be managed exams. Students who have started a domestic or foreign equivalent program may apply for a transfer. Admission of students from the beginning of the semester, each student and studied in terms of the degree of considering his application and is considered special.

Students who graduate from high school now part of the communication profession, Public Relations and Publicity pass without examination can apply for associate degree program. Vocational high school without an examination of the sections except the designated section for the transition from high school without examination or other graduate placement at the end of the quota program remains open to additional placement, the request will be placed according to their scores and central placement.

Today to introduce products and services produced by the institutions, to market, to modern communication techniques in order to increase their market share and is in need of qualified individuals who can continue using these techniques. To respond to public relations and promotional programs that need, based on scientific information, a qualified professional knowledge and equipped with professional foreign language, with professional ethical sense, follow the changes and developments which aims to train qualified young people, offers an educational profile at this level.

Graduates, in particular, can work as a public relations personnel in private enterprise and public institutions. This section is no limit to the graduates of the sector; public relations units in all sectors. Given training covers all sectors.

Access to Further Studies



Upper Level Migration Department successfully completed graduate students who made each year by SSPC "Vertical Jump Test" by switching to the relevant section of the 4-year colleges can continue their education. We can also complete their education students who graduate from the open university. Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Samsun Vocational School in Fall and Spring semester, including two courses in period Midterm, final and make-up exams are implemented. 40% of the midterm exam grade students pass the final exam grade of 60% of the grade is calculated, "Bell Curve" is determined by the system. Order to pass the course, the students, the final make-up exams and grades should not be less than 50.

Graduation Requirements

Upon successful completion of all courses in the program and students who obtain a minimum 2.00 GPA on a 4.00 in the 30 business days after completing the internship is entitled to graduation.

Marketing and Advertising, Public Relations and Publicity Program, students in the Public Relations field can grow as a qualified staff and the need that this area theoretical and offers practical training they need to obtain all information. Students also practice the lessons they can do about the areas of the program, the course will provide them with theoretical knowledge are also available. Public Relations and Advertising program, students have the opportunity to obtain media and professional information, including all institutions and organizations.
