General Description

History

Department of Elementary Education as a vision, our nation will above the level of contemporary civilization is to train qualified teachers and education experts. Our mission, changing and evolving scientific knowledge teacher candidates present and science education, scientific research, and to contribute to the development of this knowledge through projects, pre-service teachers, research, and scientific research with a sense of being accurate, using the property as well as teaching ethical principles, comprehension, application, and to give them the distinction of being an advocate. For years, teacher training department of Science and Education in the academic year 1998-1999 student sections have been taken.

Qualification Awarded

Who have successfully completed 159 credits (240 ECTS credits) have successfully completed all courses and diplomas are awarded to undergraduate students in the field of SCIENCE EDUCATION.

Programme Outcomes

  1. to provide Physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, geology and mathematics knowlidge via science education and to apply in everyday life
  2. Teaching in Science and Technology will have a relevant content area knowledge to meet the needs of students.
  3. Modern teaching methods and techniques, know and apply the methods of measurement and evaluation.
  4. To supply data collecting, data analysis, designing experiment and conduct interperet of results including science education and the ability to apply them all to the education
  5. Teaching materials and resources to support program development, characteristics and learning styles of students can prepare properly and use it.
  6. Will have the nature of science and technology literacy and science process skills by adding it to use in classroom activities.
