General Description

History

Department of Special Education , Deaf Education, and Education of Mentally Handicapped , including two major subfields . The two major branches of the Department of Special Education in the academic year 2001-2002 has started its activities by establishing education and training .

Qualification Awarded

Teacher of the Mentally Retarded are graduates of bachelor's degree as a teacher of the Mentally Retarded .

Specific Admission Requirements

Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (SSPC) placed on transitions to college students and other higher education institutions , published in the Official Paper No. 27561 dated 24.04.2010 Higher Education Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree Programs Level Switch , Double Major, Minor and Inter- the Regulation on credit Transfer , carried out according to the decisions of the Senate Higher Education Committee . Graduates of this field is the Ministry of Education can be employed as a teacher at schools in the Mentally Retarded . Private special education and rehabilitation centers in the area graduates can work as staff who are authorized to sign on .

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Students and one course a semester / year-end or final exam in order to enter an internship of at least 70% of theoretical courses , course applications , training, workshops and laboratories are required to attend 80% .
Lectures for each one midterm and one final exam. Mid-term exam 40% and final exam 60% is calculated. Course grade is 60 .
100 used in the evaluation of success in college system .
Not foreseen by the Council of Higher scores over 4 conversion table are based on the calculation of reserves .
