Graduation Requirements

It’s obligatory to attend to the theoretical lessons, to complete minimum 55 credit score, to prepare at least one seminar, a thesis and to be successful in written, oral and thesis exams in Biochemistry (Veterinary) Doctorate Programme.

Routine Biochemistry Laboratory

Routine biochemistry laboratory has ELISA reader, autoanalyser, UV spectrophotometer, light microscope, centrifuge, shaker, deep freeze (-20 oC), refrigerator, distile water equipment, water bath, vacuum oven, automatic pipette sets, digital pH meter, vortex, magnetic mixer and computer. In this laboratory, routine biocemical analyses can be done.

Research Laboratory

Electrophoretic and Western-blot analyses are performed in this laboratory. The laboratory has electrophoresis apparatus, homogenizer, cabine, refrigerator and automatic pipette sets.

Programme Outcomes

  1. Knows the structure, classification and functions of biological macromolecules and metabolic pathways in the organism
  2. Knows the basic biochemical concepts and techniques used in biochemistry and can make biochemical analysis
  3. Have the ability to make independent scientific work in their field as well as in collaboration with other disciplines
  4. Improves the foreign language at level of participate in international scientific events
  5. Proceed and evaluate the current scientific reports, can write and be publish scientific papers in the field of biochemistry
  6. Can produce a hypothesis about scientific topic, can reveal these hypotheses by experimental studies and have theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out a scientific research
  7. Have perspective and understanding on the education and research the scientific study of self-directed
